1.5 cups Red bean
10 cups Water
5 tablespoons Sugar
1 Pandanus leaf, knotted
- Clean the soaked red beans.
- Put the red beans and pandanus leaf in the pot, add 10 cups of water.
- Bring to the boil for 15 minutes.
- Cook and simmer for a further 45 minutes or until the red beans are soft and cooked.
- Add sugar, stir and remove the pandanus leaf.
- Serve in dessert bowls.
