Sweet Red Bean Soup RecipeIngredients :

1.5 cups Red bean

10 cups Water

5 tablespoons Sugar

1 Pandanus leaf, knotted

Method :

  • Clean the soaked red beans.
  • Put the red beans and pandanus leaf in the pot, add 10 cups of water.
  • Bring to the boil for 15 minutes.
  • Cook and simmer for a further 45 minutes or until the red beans are soft and cooked.
  • Add sugar, stir and remove the pandanus leaf.
  • Serve in dessert bowls.
